What services do you offer for orders placed through your website?

We offer free free postage within Australia for orders over $75 or you can collect your order from our shopfront.

Orders can be collected during our trading hours. Please check our home page for trading hour updates. 

We can gift-wrap your order and even include a message, just leave us all the details in the Order Notes field during checkout.

 

What is the difference between Click & Collect and Add to Cart?

Click & Collect is the ideal way to order with us online when you only want to order one item and you don't want to make payment online.

When you opt to Click & Collect, you are only asked to provide your email address and contact number. We do not take payment online for Click & Collect orders. 

When you click Reserve Now, we receive your Click & Collect order for that item. Once you have placed a Click & Collect order, you cannot cancel it. You will need to contact us directly to make any changes to your Click & Collect order. We will send you an email once we have picked your order and have it ready for you to collect from our shopfront. All Click & Collect orders are held at our shop counter awaiting collection.

Add to Cart is the best way to shop online with us when you want to order multiple items. When you Add to Cart, you can choose to pay for your order online or pay later over the phone or at our shopfront. When you Add to Cart, you can also choose whether you would like your order delivered or to collect your order from our shopfront.

You can add as many items to your cart as you like and remove items from your cart if you change your mind. Once you are happy to order the items in your cart, you proceed to checkout. At this stage you are asked to sign in as an existing customer or to register a new account. Please scroll down to read more about setting up an online account with us. 

Once signed in, you will be asked to provide the following information before you complete the checkout process.

  • Shipping Address (please note, you must enter a shipping address here even though you may choose to collect your order from our shopfront)
  • Delivery Options, which include:
    • Postage via Australia Post
    • Pick up from our Thirroul shopfront
  • Payment Options, which include:
    • PayPal with Debit/Credit Card Option (you do not need a PayPal account to checkout using this option)
    • Contact Me (we will contact you via phone or email once we have picked your order and provide you with information about how you can pay for your order over the phone or at our Thirroul shopfront)
    • Gift Card (enter your gift card's details to redeem it online)
  • Notes (optional)
    • Here you can leave us any information you would like us to know, such as whether your order needs to be gift-wrapped or delivered by a certain date/time

 

How soon after I place my Click & Collect order will it be ready to collect?

We attend to your online orders as quickly as possible, but processing times vary depending on the volume of orders received.

All online orders are processed by our booksellers in store during trading hours.

When your Click & Collect order has been processed, you will receive an email from us confirming that your order is ready to collect along with information about how and when you can collect your order from our shopfront.

If you place a Click & Collect order before 5pm, you can generally expect to receive email confirmation that your order is ready to collect that same day. For Click & Collect orders placed after 5pm, you can generally expect to receive confirmation that your order is ready to collect  the following morning.

If you need your Click & Collect order urgently or by a particular time, please phone us on 4267 1408 during trading hours so we can prioritise your order.

 

When will my order be delivered?

We send all our mail orders via Australia Post.

We offer free postage Australia-wide for all orders over $75. Orders under $85 incur a flat-rate postage charge of $9.95.

Orders posted with Australia Post are generally deposited at our local post office within two business days. When you receive an email from us confirming your order has been processed and dispatched, you should also receive a tracking number. Sometimes you will receive this separately in an email from Australia Post. I'm in your Customer Club, do I already have an online account with you?

All members of our illustrious local Customer Club do indeed already have accounts registered with us online — your online account is the same as your Customer Club account.

Instead of registering as a new user, please enter the email address you have given us for your Customer Club account in the Logn field on the right-hand side of your screen and click "Forgotten Password?" You will then receive an email allowing you to set up a password for your online Customer Club account, and give you the same club benefits when you shop online as when you shop in store with us.
